Children's Missions

MPUMC's children are currently participating in two major missions:
Change for Children and Food for FISH. See the descriptions below for more information on each of these missions as well as the latest news and initiatives.

Mission:  Change for Children

Description:
This mission is based on the belief that the pocket change of Christians can indeed change the world for children and their families.
Collection point:
Every Sunday during the "Children's Moment" which is part of Traditional Services.
Coordinator:
Ann Cover

Who is Helped?

The coins collected will be used for grants to support new and existing ministries with children from birth through age twelve and their families who are economically disadvantaged. Half the money stays right here in Holston Conference. Half the money is given to Hope for the Children of Africa.

More information on this program can be found at www.holstonkids.com.
